The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation welcomed key overseas political figures visiting Korea at the invitation of the Korea Foundation (KF), introducing Gyeonggi-do’s employment policies and guiding them through the main facilities operated by the foundation.
The Korea Foundation is a public diplomacy organization under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, established to promote accurate recognition and understanding of Korea and to enhance international goodwill and friendship through various exchange programs between Korea and other countries.
This visit included senior government officials from seven countries, such as the Mayor of Hamilton, New Zealand, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Libya, the Mayor of Las Palmas, Spain, and the Director of the Diplomatic Mission of the U.S. Department of State.

The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation explained and shared the status of Gyeonggi-do’s unique employment policies, including the job employment service platform, the pilot four-and-a-half-day workweek project for work-life balance, and customized job programs for vulnerable groups such as women and middle-aged individuals.
The delegation toured hands-on training facilities and startup support spaces directly operated by the foundation, showing great interest in the foundation’s field-oriented and highly effective approach to job creation. During the subsequent Q&A session, there was an active exchange of questions regarding the business implementation process and customized support methods by target group and region.
Yoon Deokryong, CEO of the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, “I am very pleased that international figures have shown such great interest in Gyeonggi-do’s employment policies,” and added, “We will continue to expand global cooperation so that the Gyeonggi-do employment model can become an international standard.”
