The Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairperson Park Yunkyung) held the "2025 Senior Business Leaders Invitational Meeting" on May 13 to share the valuable experiences and wisdom of veteran entrepreneurs who have long led the development of Daegu's industry, and to hear their insights on the advancement of the regional economy.

Meanwhile, the event featured a congratulatory performance by soprano Lee Junghyun, who delivered a touching stage with sweet and warm songs such as "Dongmusaenggak," "Danny Boy," "Nae Maumeui Gangmul," and "You Raise Me Up."
Chairperson Park Yunkyung of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who presided over the meeting, said, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to the senior business leaders who have served as the backbone of Daegu's economy," and added, "The Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry will do its utmost to honor and carry on the achievements and spirit of the senior business leaders who have laid the foundation for the development of the regional economy."
Speaking on behalf of the senior business leaders, Noh Huichan, Chairman of Samil Textile (former 17th and 18th Chairperson of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry), stated, "Our economy is facing many difficulties these days. The wisdom of the senior economic leaders gathered here is more needed than ever. I ask that you continue to play an active role for the region in the future as well."
Lee Injung, Honorary Chairman of HS Hwaseong (former 19th and 20th Chairperson of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry), remarked, "Just like the lyrics from 'Danny Boy' that say, 'And when the sun is shining or the shadows fall, I will live here,' I express my respect and gratitude to the senior business leaders for their dedication and commitment to the region."
