Hwang Jaeu, CEO of Gwangyang Enterprise, Makes First Donation of 50 Million Won
General Sponsorship Totals 9.07 Million Won... Community Sharing Continues
The Gwangyang City Childcare Foundation announced on May 13 that it held a donation ceremony for the first donor and general sponsorship of the "Childcare Love 100+ Donation Relay" on May 12 at the meeting room of Gwangyang City Hall, with about 20 people in attendance, including Mayor Jeong Inhwa, Foundation Chairman Lee Kwangyong, Executive Director Kim Heeyoung, and donors.
The "Childcare Love 100+ Donation Relay" is a sharing relay in which 100 donors each contribute at least 1 million won to help create a better childcare environment. On this day, Hwang Jaeu, CEO of Gwangyang Enterprise Co., Ltd., donated 50 million won, marking the start of the relay.

CEO Hwang Jaeu said, "I wanted to help build a community where all children can grow up healthy and happy. After hearing about the foundation's donation relay, I naturally decided to participate. I hope this relay is filled with warm hearts and brings happiness to many children. I will continue to support and stay interested in this cause."
At the general sponsorship donation ceremony held on the same day, a total of 9,071,000 won was donated. By organization: the Jinsang-myeon Solar Power Plant Management Committee (Chairman An Gilbong) donated 7 million won; Gwangyang Sweet M Renaissance Daycare Center (Director Kim Hyeonhui) donated 1,071,000 won; and Gwangyang Central Xi Daycare Center (Director Kim Soyoung) donated 1 million won.
Chairman An Gilbong said, "I am very happy to be able to make a meaningful donation for our children, and I want to work with others to create an environment where children can grow up healthy and happy. I will continue to practice sharing with ongoing interest."
Director Kim Hyeonhui said, "I am grateful that the proceeds from the bazaar, created by many warm hearts, can be delivered to a meaningful cause for our children. I hope our sincerity brings joy to the children."
Director Kim Soyoung said, "It is very meaningful to be able to donate the precious funds raised through the bazaar. I am grateful for the foundation's projects for young children, and I always feel proud that Gwangyang City has the Childcare Foundation."
Mayor Jeong Inhwa said, "I deeply appreciate the warm hearts and interest shown through donations to the Childcare Foundation. Your valuable contributions will become precious resources for young children in our community. Gwangyang City will also cooperate to improve community welfare. I ask for your continued interest in the Childcare Foundation."
Chairman Lee Kwangyong said, "I would like to thank CEO Hwang Jaeu and all donors for joining the start of the donation relay. The donated funds will be transparently used for various childcare projects to improve the welfare of young children in the region. I ask for your continued interest in the Childcare Foundation."
Meanwhile, the "Childcare Love 100+ Donation Relay" plans to continue holding donation ceremonies in sequence for 100 people who wish to participate voluntarily in the future. Participants will receive a thank-you badge, and the names of donors will be listed on a commemorative plaque.
