Emgen Solution is showing strong performance amid recent reports of several large-scale fires.
As of 2:33 p.m. on May 13, Emgen Solution was trading at 1,273 won, up 3.66% from the previous day.
Earlier that morning, a fire broke out at a logistics center located in Sujeong-ri, Bubal-eup, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi Province.
The fire authorities have deployed 55 pieces of equipment, including command vehicles, and 160 personnel, including firefighters, to contain the blaze. High-performance chemical fire trucks and unmanned destructive water cannon vehicles from the Central 119 Rescue Headquarters and the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters Special Response Unit have also been mobilized.
The logistics center where the fire occurred is a building with three above-ground floors and one underground floor, constructed with precast concrete (PC), and has a total floor area of approximately 80,000 square meters. The number of evacuees has now increased to 178.
Meanwhile, Emgen Solution is known as the only company in Korea to commercialize an artificial intelligence (AI)-based video fire automatic detection and suppression solution.
Emgen Solution, through its subsidiary Hyundai InfraCore, has developed an AI fire detection and suppression robot, which is scheduled to be unveiled at the end of this month.
This robot is capable of unmanned detection 24 hours a day and can respond within 30 seconds of a fire outbreak. It is also equipped with fire suppression capabilities, allowing it to discharge water and fire extinguishing agents directly at the scene.
According to the securities industry on this day, Emgen Solution is analyzed to possess two simultaneous momentum drivers: the enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and participation in the reconstruction projects in Ukraine.
