The Yangsan-si Out-of-School Youth Support Center in Gyeongnam has signed an MOU with Dongwon Institute of Science and Technology and will operate the self-development program "Golf Club - BuddyBuddy" from May 14 to July 4, aiming to promote healthy growth of out-of-school youth through physical activities.
This program is open to out-of-school youth aged 9 to 24 who are not attending elementary, middle, or high school and are registered with the Yangsan-si Out-of-School Youth Support Center. Eligible individuals can participate after applying.
"Golf Club - BuddyBuddy" is a newly organized self-development program designed to meet the needs of out-of-school youth. Participants who attend more than 80% of the 30-hour program will receive a certificate of completion.
This program is made possible through the MOU signed in 2024 between the Yangsan-si Out-of-School Youth Support Center and Dongwon Institute of Science and Technology, which allows free use of the golf practice range and golf clubs at the university.
Lee Seongmi, the head of the center, stated, "The Out-of-School Youth Support Center will continue to provide high-quality, customized services so that more youth can discover their dreams and grow up healthy."
