The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will host the 'WIXG Gyeonggi-do G-Fund Investment Consultation Fair' on May 27 at the Gyeonggi Startup Innovation Space (East) located in Hanam City.
This investment consultation fair has been organized to foster the growth of artificial intelligence (AI) and materials, parts, and equipment (so-called Sobeujang) companies within the province that possess technological capabilities but lack investment capital, utilizing the 1.2 trillion won G-Fund.
The G-Fund is Gyeonggi-do's strategic investment capital for technology startups in the province, serving as a priming fund to support the growth of promising companies.
During the briefing session, information will be provided on the G-Fund's investment direction, scale, and support methods, as well as practical guidance on preparing investor relations (IR) materials and strategic fundraising techniques.
In the one-on-one consultation sessions, participating companies will have 30-minute customized meetings directly with venture capital (VC) and accelerator (AC) representatives, tailored to each company's stage of growth.
On the same day, the Hanam branch of the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation will also hold a session to introduce its financial support programs for local companies.
Starting with this event in the eastern region, the agency will sequentially hold investment consultation fairs in the western, southern, and northern regions as well.
Kim Hyungon, President of the agency, stated, "This investment consultation fair will be a highly practical opportunity for local companies with technological capabilities," adding, "We will continue to do our best to drive tangible growth for companies in the province through on-site and demand-oriented support."
Meanwhile, companies wishing to participate in the investment consultation fair can apply by May 16 via the announcement on the Gyeonggi Business Secretary website (www.egbiz.or.kr) or by using the QR code at the top of the event poster.
