At the closing ceremony on May 12, Lee Jaehan, President of the Pohang City Sports Council, received the championship flag and encouraged the athletes, saying, "I am proud of all our team members who have fully demonstrated Pohang's strength in every event."

He also expressed his gratitude, stating, "I deeply thank all the coaches, event officials, and everyone who supported us until the very last moment."

Mayor Lee Kangdeok said, "The athletes who have elevated Pohang’s reputation are the pride of our city," and added, "I also thank the Pohang City Sports Council and all sports officials who have been a strong support behind the team."

Following the conclusion of this festival, the 27th Gyeongbuk Province Sports Festival for the Disabled is scheduled to be held from May 22 to May 23.
