The 74th anniversary ceremony of the Korea Disabled Veterans Association was held on the afternoon of the 12th at the Provincial Office Cultural Center. The event was attended by Kim Taeheum, Governor of Chungnam Province, Jeong Jindong, head of the Chungnam branch of the Korea Disabled Veterans Association, heads of various institutions and organizations, as well as over 650 members of the Disabled Veterans Association from 15 cities and counties in the province.


Governor Kim stated, "Patriotism is the foundation of everything that has made Korea what it is today," and added, "I would like to once again express my gratitude to all of you who dedicated your blood, sweat, and tears in the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and for your devotion to the free Republic of Korea."


He went on to say, "Chungnam Province will do its utmost to provide the highest level of respect to those who have served the nation," and emphasized, "We will deeply honor your patriotism and sacrifice, and do our best to build a stronger and greater Republic of Korea."
