Consul Nolan Barkhouse of the U.S. Embassy in Korea Invited
Practical Information on Overseas Employment for Young People

The Yangsan Branch Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (headed by Kwon Guhyung) will hold a "Youth Special Lecture on Overseas Employment" at the Lee Taeseok Memorial Hall of Inje University at 2:00 p.m. on May 15.

This special lecture is part of the "Youth Future Jobs Connection Project" and is designed to provide practical employment information and help young people explore career paths as they pursue global opportunities.

On this day, Nolan Barkhouse, Consul at the U.S. Embassy in Korea, will take the stage to deliver a lecture titled "For Young People Dreaming of Advancing to the United States." The lecture will share practical information on employment procedures in the U.S., visa systems, and local employment culture.

In addition, the event will include an introduction to government policies supporting overseas employment, as well as a special mentoring session featuring real-life experiences and practical advice from a young mentor who has successfully found employment abroad, providing vivid and useful information to young job seekers.

This special lecture is one of the core programs of the "Youth Future Jobs Connection Project," which focuses on five high-demand occupational fields: content, biomedical, social ventures, overseas employment, and safety and health. The program supports young people’s entry into the job market by connecting expert mentoring with work experience opportunities.

Kwon Guhyung, head of the branch office, stated, "This special lecture is more than just a talk; it is an opportunity designed to help young people take a step onto the global stage," adding, "We will continue to support their challenges through various youth employment programs."

Participation in the special lecture can be registered in advance via the QR code on the event poster, and further details can be obtained by contacting the Yangsan Branch Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
