The election campaign committee of the People Power Party announced on May 12, 2025, that it had finalized presidential candidate Kim Moonsoo's campaign slogan as "A New Republic of Korea, Kim Moonsoo with Integrity and Fairness."
"A New Republic of Korea" represents candidate Kim's declaration to overcome the deep-rooted injustices and conflicts in Korean society?whether ideological, gender-based, or regional?and to open a new chapter for the country. The campaign committee explained that the appointment of "Kim Yongtae, born in the 1990s, as emergency committee chairperson" on May 11, 2025, is the first example demonstrating that the "A New Republic of Korea" slogan will not remain a mere campaign catchphrase, but will be put into action.
According to the campaign committee, "Kim Moonsoo with Integrity and Fairness" embodies candidate Kim's convictions?such as his refusal to betray his fellow activists even under harsh torture during his labor movement days, the spirit of his personal motto "Integrity brings eternal life, corruption brings instant death," and his foremost political principle of "protecting the vulnerable."
A campaign committee official stated, "Candidate Kim is the only true rival to candidate Lee Jaemyung in terms of ability, morality, and life trajectory," adding, "During the election period, the public will discover the truly 'new Kim Moonsoo,' and ultimately, the people will witness a miracle through candidate Kim's sincerity."
