This camp, held from May 9 to 10 at Lotte Resort Buyeo, featured direct participation from employees of nine public institutions, including the National Pension Service and the Jeonbuk Culture and Tourism Foundation.
The program provided job-focused mentoring sessions, and an external interview specialist offered institution-specific interview training and practical mock interview programs for participants. These activities gave young people preparing for public institution employment a meaningful opportunity to enhance their practical skills.
Kim, a third-year student in the Department of Industrial Engineering who participated in the employment camp, said, "Receiving feedback during the mock interview, which was conducted just like a real one, gave me confidence for actual interviews. Having the chance to ask questions directly to current employees and set my career direction was extremely helpful."
Shin Sukkyung, head of the University Job Plus Center, stated, "This employment camp was a practical, hands-on program featuring experienced professionals and interview specialists, with a focus on increasing local youth's chances of employment at public institutions. We will continue to expand programs that strengthen practical skills required in the field and enhance employment competitiveness."
