The Seomjingang Healing Ecological Park covers a total area of 38,866 square meters and is accessible via the park entrance road near the Gurye County Water and Sewage Office. At the park entrance, there is a parking lot for visitors and a bicycle rest area for users of the Seomjingang bicycle trail.
After passing through the entrance plaza and entering the park, visitors will find an ecological circulation forest, where both cyclists and pedestrians can enjoy walks in nature. Following this, a "Dubakwi Rest Area" designed as a pocket rest spot provides a place for users to relax.
In addition, after crossing the pedestrian bridge over Sanjeongcheon Stream, visitors will find a bicycle training ground, a "Hidden Bunker" that utilizes the elevation differences of the terrain, and a "Traveler's Garden" designed for travelers. In the final section of the park, there is the "Seomjingang Adventure Forest," an adventure experience space, and a "Health Rest Area" for wellness, supporting a wide range of activities for visitors.
The county expects that the completion of this park, in connection with the Seomjingang Bamboo Forest Trail, will create a large-scale park that offers tourists a more diverse range of attractions and experiences.
County Governor Kim Sunho stated, "We will continue to expand rest areas for residents and do our utmost to make Gurye a place where nature is alive and thriving."
