Green Plus Signs 10.3 Billion KRW Smart Farm Construction Contract with Farmfarm

This contract is not a one-time agreement but marks the third contract since 2021. A fourth additional contract is also in the final stages of discussion and is expected to be signed within the first half of the year. Under this contract, a large-scale glass greenhouse covering 33,000 square meters (10,000 pyeong) will be built in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do. Construction is scheduled to take place over approximately eight months, from June 15, 2025, to February 28, 2026.

In particular, the collaboration with Farmfarm is drawing attention as a win-win model between agricultural corporations and large enterprises. The existing smart farms have already achieved tangible results in profitability and quality improvement. Through the smart farms constructed by Green Plus, Farmfarm has been able to continuously generate stable profits. In this way, Green Plus is advancing crop cultivation technology for agricultural corporations based on its outstanding technological capabilities and construction expertise, while also contributing to the distribution and sales structures of large enterprises, thereby presenting a direction for the development of the domestic smart farm industry.

Green Plus expects to improve crop productivity and quality by introducing ICT-based automation systems into glass greenhouses using its proprietary technology. Additionally, the two companies are discussing further cooperation based on this contract. Green Plus plans to support Farmfarm in becoming a leading company in the domestic tomato market.

Jung Soontae, CEO of Green Plus, stated, "Through this contract, we will not only dramatically improve Farmfarm's productivity but also contribute to the expansion of smart farms in Korea," adding, "We will continue to provide the best smart farms through ongoing cooperation in the future."

Meanwhile, Green Plus is actively pursuing the global expansion of K-Smart Farm by carrying out various smart farm export projects, including the development and demonstration of smart farm IR-blocking covering materials for the Middle East market in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, as well as the development of automated vertical farm models for North America and global markets.
