The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will provide export logistics cost support of up to 5 million won per company to 27 businesses in the Gimpo area.
Eligible recipients are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with their headquarters or factories located in Gimpo, whose direct export volume last year was less than 1 million dollars.
These companies can receive support for up to 70% of their logistics expenses, with a maximum limit of 5 million won per company. Covered costs include international freight charges (sea and air transportation), domestic inland transportation fees, logistics-related surcharges, and export declaration certificate issuance fees.
Interested companies can apply online by visiting the Gyeonggi Business Secretary website by May 30 of this month.
Last year, the agency supported export logistics costs for 36 companies in the Gimpo area. The export logistics cost support program is a joint initiative between the agency's regional centers and local city and county governments. Previously, the Eastern Regional Center implemented this program for companies in the Icheon area.
