On May 12, Yes24, a cultural content platform, announced that it will begin pre-orders for its first color eBook reader in the Crema series, the new model 'Crema Palette'.
The 'Crema Palette', Yes24's first color eBook reader, enhances user convenience with a 7-inch panel capable of vivid color expression and the inclusion of physical buttons. This product, available in both white and black, was named 'Palette' as a motif inspired by its ability to display 4,096 different colors.
The most notable features of the 'Crema Palette' are its 7-inch color panel, which allows users to enjoy eBooks in full, vibrant color, and physical buttons designed with an open-book style reminiscent of opening a real book. Users can easily switch between color and black-and-white modes according to their preference, and its sophisticated design allows it to serve as a stylish object even when not in use.
In particular, the device is highly portable with an ultra-lightweight design weighing only 210g. It is equipped with a high-capacity battery that provides up to 145 hours of use on a single charge and runs on the latest Android 14 OS, delivering a comfortable and immersive reading experience.
The 'Crema Palette', which comes with premium specifications, is available at a reasonable price of 329,000 KRW. Yes24 significantly lowers the price barrier compared to other color eBook readers in the same class, offering an optimal option for value-conscious consumers.
Official artwork that maximizes the emotional appeal of the color reader has also been prepared. The device features sleep and power-off screens created in collaboration with the illustrator Drawingmary, who is loved by 160,000 followers, allowing users to experience the 'Palette' sentiment even when the device is powered off. A new feature also allows users to set the cover of a book they are reading as the sleep screen. In addition, official accessory lineups such as a collaborative flip cover case with the design brand Composition Studio are available.
To celebrate the launch of the 'Crema Palette', Yes24 is holding a pre-order event.
