'KDB Program Utilization Guide' Service
Launched to Help Companies Respond to Environmental Regulations
Korea Development Bank announced on May 12 that it is launching the "KDB Program Utilization Guide" service to enhance the ability of domestic companies to respond to major environmental regulations, such as those recently introduced by the European Union (EU).
This service consists of diagnosing the requesting company's situation, followed by guidance on and support for customized financial and non-financial programs tailored to each company's needs.
The company situation diagnosis will be carried out in collaboration with the International Environmental Regulation Business Support Center of the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, a specialized international environmental regulation agency designated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The matching and guidance for financial and non-financial programs will be conducted based on the type of environmental regulation and the individual circumstances of each company.
Korea Development Bank explained that, in order to improve companies' accessibility to various programs, it plans to provide additional informational materials and videos within the first half of the year.
A Korea Development Bank official stated, "As the national climate finance bank, we offer a variety of programs to support the development of green industries and the transition to a low-carbon industrial structure," adding, "We plan to further expand these efforts in the future to strengthen the green competitiveness of domestic companies."
