Received 7.25 Billion KRW in Support
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, announced on the 12th that it held the '2025 Elegant CEO Children Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony' and awarded a total of 1.65 billion KRW in scholarships to 310 children of restaurant owners who were selected as recipients.
The 'Elegant CEO Children Scholarship,' which began in 2022, is a scholarship program operated by Woowa Brothers. It is funded by annual donations from Woowa Brothers to the 'Elegant CEO Care Fund,' which was established by former chairman Kim Bongjin and his wife Seol Bomi for restaurant owners. The Community Chest of Korea manages the fund, and the non-profit organization JUMP is responsible for running the scholarship program, including the selection of scholarship recipients.

Through the 'Elegant CEO Children Scholarship,' Woowa Brothers has provided 5.6 billion KRW in scholarships to 958 students over the past three years. This year, 310 students were selected, with high school students each receiving 3 million KRW and university students each receiving 4 million KRW in academic support. Including this year’s recipients, a total of 1,268 children of restaurant owners have received 7.25 billion KRW in scholarships.
Kim Junghyun, Head of Value Management at Woowa Brothers, said, "For the fourth consecutive year, we have been supporting scholarship recipients so they can pursue their dreams through the Elegant CEO Children Scholarship," and added, "In addition to the scholarship program, we will continue to carry out various initiatives to support restaurant owners."
