Adopted as a Regular Menu Item Due to Popularity
4 Million Sold in Three Months Since Launch
Achieved 180% of Sales Target
Lotteria, the burger franchise brand operated by Lotte GRS, announced on May 12 that it has decided to add the two types of 'Napolimpia Mozzarella Burger' to its regular menu, following their popularity as new menu items.
The Napolimpia Mozzarella Burger was created in collaboration with star chef Kwon Sungjoon. It comes in two varieties: 'Tomato Basil,' which highlights tomato sauce, and 'Balsamic Basil,' which offers the refreshing taste of red wine balsamic. Since its launch, the burgers have sold 450,000 units in the first week, 1.5 million units in the first month, and 4 million units in three months. The company explained that strong customer demand and positive feedback for a permanent release led to the decision to offer the burgers as regular menu items.
The two types of Napolimpia Mozzarella Burger have become the best-selling new products introduced by Lotteria in the past two years. The number of repeat purchases has also exceeded twice that of other products, indicating steady customer demand. Since their launch, sales have reached approximately 180% of the initial target.
According to CRM (Customer Relationship Management) analysis by gender, both varieties recorded a purchase rate of 53% among men and 47% among women, appealing evenly to both genders. By age group, 30% of purchases were made by those in their 20s, 43% by those in their 30s, and 19% by those in their 40s, with the 20-40 age group accounting for 92% of total sales. The burgers are loved not only by younger customers but also by middle-aged and older adults.
A Lotte GRS representative stated, "Thanks to the enthusiastic support of our customers, we have decided to make this new menu item available at all times rather than as a limited offer, so that everyone can enjoy it whenever they like." The representative added, "We will continue to quickly respond to customer needs and strive to deliver delicious enjoyment in the future."
