This is a customized, hands-on history education program for elementary school students. Participating children will tour the permanent exhibition hall, complete workbook missions, and learn about modern and contemporary history in an easy and engaging way through explanations provided by a curator.

In particular, creative activities such as making a mood lamp inspired by Bonghwanggak, a modern cultural heritage site in Ui-dong, are also included to spark children's interest. Bonghwanggak is a historic building constructed in 1912 by Son Byeonghui, and it is a significant site that produced 15 of the 33 national representatives of the March 1st Movement.

Participation is free of charge, and both individuals and groups can apply. Applications can be made through the Modern History Memorial Hall website or by phone (02-903-7580). Group schedules can be adjusted through separate consultations.

Lee Soonhee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, said, "I hope this program will serve as a valuable opportunity for children to understand Korea's modern and contemporary history," and added, "We ask for the interest and participation of many, including parents and teachers."
