The Gyeonggi Tourism Foreign Social Network Service (SNS) Supporters have officially launched their activities.
On May 10, Gyeonggi Province announced that it had launched the Gyeonggi Tourism Foreign SNS Supporters, called "Oh My Gyeonggi (O.M.G.)," at Yeoju Sejong Library. The supporters were selected through an open recruitment process, both online and offline, targeting creators among foreign residents in Korea who have significant influence on social media.
Until November, the supporters will visit and experience major tourist attractions, hidden gems, festivals, events, and popular restaurants in Gyeonggi Province through group and individual tours. Afterward, they will create promotional content and upload it to global social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

Through videos and images that reflect the culture and sensibilities of each country, the supporters aim to promote Gyeonggi Province's tourist destinations to potential international visitors. In addition, they plan to enhance access to tourism information by providing multilingual subtitles.
Gyeonggi Province expects that these supporter activities will generate vivid content that resonates with foreigners and effectively promote the appeal of Gyeonggi tourism worldwide. In particular, the initiative is expected to make a significant contribution to the increase in foreign tourists.
Jang Hyangjeong, Director of the Tourism Industry Division at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Many foreign tourists perceive Gyeonggi Province as a region that is close yet unfamiliar. We will actively support the activities of the foreign supporters so that they can create fresh and immersive Gyeonggi tourism content, and we hope that the supporters will share the charms of Gyeonggi Province with the world."
