The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 11th that, together with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea Battery Industry Association, and COEX, it held 'Inter Battery Europe 2025' in Munich, Germany, from the 7th to the 9th (local time). There are growing expectations that this event will serve as a bridgehead for domestic companies to enter the European battery supply chain and expand local cooperation.
Inter Battery Europe is the European edition of 'Inter Battery Korea,' the largest battery exhibition in Korea. After its inaugural event in Munich in 2023, this year marks its third edition. This year's exhibition featured a total of 43 Korean battery-related companies, including major battery cell manufacturers such as Samsung SDI and LG Energy Solution.

Participating companies showcased products that cover the entire battery supply chain. In particular, they had the opportunity to present their technologies and products directly to local buyers and industry stakeholders.
Kim Hyuncheol, Head of KOTRA's Europe Headquarters, stated, "We will spare no effort to support K-battery and materials, parts, and equipment companies in successfully entering the European supply chain."
