Public Official Election Act Training and Integrity Pledge
Held in Preparation for the June 3 Presidential Election
The Economic Transportation Division of Jinhae District, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, conducted a Public Official Election Act training session to ensure political neutrality of public officials and compliance with election-related laws in preparation for the 21st presidential election.
The training, held on May 9, was attended by 28 staff members from the Economic Transportation Division. The session covered the prohibition of public officials' involvement in elections, restrictions on their conduct, and measures taken in case of violations, providing a comprehensive overview of the Public Official Election Act. Through this training, participants deepened their understanding of the election process and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a fair and transparent election culture.
In addition, a pledge for integrity was held alongside the training to promote a culture of integrity. Staff members participated in a card section displaying messages such as "Revitalize the economy, uphold political neutrality!" to reinforce the importance of integrity and their responsibilities as public officials.
Kwon Nanyeong, head of the Economic Transportation Division, stated, "Ahead of the election, enhancing political neutrality and integrity awareness among public officials is a crucial task," adding, "We will continue to realize trustworthy administration through ongoing education and campaigns."
