On the morning of May 10, Mapo-gu (District Mayor Park Kangsoo) held the "Red-Yellow-Blue, Let Your Dreams Blossom!" children's festival at the main auditorium and plaza of the Mapo-gu Office.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, the children's festival was held under the theme "Red-Yellow-Blue, Let Your Dreams Blossom!" to express the hope that children will nurture their dreams while surrounded by red flowers, yellow butterflies, and the blue sky.
The festival began energetically with a performance by the "Mallangmallang Choir," and Mapo's young children, their families, and local residents gathered to celebrate Children's Day and create cherished memories together.
At the opening ceremony, Park Kangsoo, Mayor of Mapo-gu, addressed the children, who were the main focus of the festival, saying, "Just as flowers bloom more beautifully when they receive sunlight, I hope our children will grow wonderful dreams by receiving lots of love and support," and added, "I will sincerely support you so that you can achieve the dreams you desire."
Additionally, at the awards ceremony for the photo contest, Park Kangsoo presented awards to the winning children and offered words of encouragement.
Children who participated in the festival enjoyed a variety of experiences and activities, including the family musical "Pig Book," the "Magic Bubble Show," "Air Bounce," "Popup Playground," and the "Dinosaur Performance."
