CJ ENM's 'KCON Japan' Opens on May 9 in Chiba, Japan

The K-pop festival 'KCON JAPAN 2025' (hereafter referred to as KCON), hosted by CJ ENM, opens on May 9 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The event will run for three days until May 11.


The venue will feature a variety of stages and programs, including dance performances, showcases, and fan meetings. There will be a 'Showcase' stage introducing up-and-coming artists, a 'Dance Stage' that encourages audience participation, and an 'Artist Stage' with a 360-degree stage format. Additionally, a 'Meet & Greet' program will allow artists and fans to interact directly.


At night, the Mnet music program 'M Countdown' will be held as a live concert. A total of 22 teams will perform, presenting collaboration stages and remake performances. On-site events will also take place to celebrate KCON surpassing a cumulative offline audience of two million.


The venue will also offer K-lifestyle experience zones, including Korean beauty brands, a food zone, and a photo zone. Visitors will be able to experience a wide range of Korean cultural content firsthand.


Since its inception in Irvine, United States in 2012, KCON has been held in 14 regions across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, establishing itself as a global festival. It has introduced the full spectrum of Korean lifestyle?including music, K-beauty, K-food, and content?to audiences worldwide.
