K-fishcake brand Samjin Fishcake (CEO Park Yongjun) ranked first in the fishcake category at the '2025 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards'.
This award was based on the BCLI (Brand Customer Loyalty Index), jointly developed by the Korea Consumer Forum and the U.S. consulting agency Brand Keys. From March 17 to March 30, about 620,000 people participated in online voting and telephone surveys, and five criteria?brand trust, attachment, repurchase intention, recommendation intention, and conversion intention?were evaluated on a seven-point scale.
Samjin Fishcake received the highest score in all categories and was selected as the top loyalty brand. CEO Park Yongjun stated, "It is especially meaningful because it is an award chosen directly by consumers," and added, "We will continue to reward consumers with products and innovations that meet their expectations."
Samjin Fishcake is recognized as a pioneer in developing fishcake into a premium snack by introducing the first fishcake bakery in Korea. More recently, the company expanded the possibilities of fishcake by developing new types of products based on seafood protein and showcasing them on the global stage at 'CES 2025'.
To commemorate the award, Samjin Fishcake will hold a discount event of up to 30% on popular fishcake products at its official online mall until the 22nd, and will also give away gift sets through a congratulatory comment event on its official Instagram account.
Samjin Fishcake received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award at the '2024 Korea 100-Year Companies' event, and has also demonstrated its brand competitiveness by ranking first for five consecutive years in the seafood processed food category in the Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) survey.
