Man in His 60s Arrested for Stabbing Coworker on Way to Work

A man in his 60s was apprehended by the police after wielding a weapon against a coworker on his way to work.


The Naju Police Station in South Jeolla Province announced on May 8 that they had arrested and were investigating a man in his 60s, referred to as A, on suspicion of attempted murder.


A is accused of stabbing a coworker, also in his 60s and referred to as B, once with a weapon near a park in Bitgaram-dong, Naju, South Jeolla Province, at around 7:30 a.m. on the same day.


It is reported that A told the police he had recently had a conflict with B following an argument.


B, who was injured, is receiving treatment at a hospital and has been confirmed to be in stable condition with no threat to his life.


The police plan to conduct a thorough investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident involving A.
