This event was a large-scale festival where local children and their families could come together. The Department of Art Therapy at Daegu Cyber University designed experience programs that reflected the unique characteristics of the department.

On this day, not only current students but also graduates and prospective art psychotherapy counselors who are preparing for related certifications voluntarily participated. This served as a practical educational opportunity for them to build their professional skills, while also informing citizens about the diverse applications and social value of art therapy.

In particular, the face painting activity, which utilized colors and symbols, was met with an enthusiastic response, with long lines forming. It created joyful memories for children and gave parents an opportunity to develop a positive perception of art therapy.

Lim Jihyang, head of the Department of Art Therapy, said, "I am most delighted that we could give children, who represent the future of our society, a joyful and meaningful Children's Day. Art therapy is a tool for emotional expression that precedes language, and as a medium of healing open to everyone, young and old alike, it was a meaningful occasion to share it naturally with citizens."

The Department of Art Therapy at Daegu Cyber University was the first art therapy-specialized department established at a cyber university. Through a systematic online curriculum, it has been training art psychotherapy counselors. In 2024, it received approval to offer a doctoral program, becoming the first in the world to provide a fully online educational system in the field of art therapy, allowing students to complete bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees entirely online.
