Busan Veterans Affairs Office Discharged Soldiers Support Center Holds 4th Meeting with HR Managers from Companies and Institutions

The Discharged Soldiers Support Center of the Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office (Director Namil Lee) held the 4th meeting with HR managers from companies and institutions on May 8, 2025, at the Baek Jaeduk Room.

This meeting was attended by 11 representatives from 7 organizations, including the Busan Employers Federation, which signed a business agreement last month. The Discharged Soldiers Support Center requested cooperation for the "One Company, One Discharged Soldier Employment" initiative and asked for support for the center’s own job matching day event scheduled for July 9, 2025.

Representatives from each organization proposed events that could be held in collaboration with the Discharged Soldiers Support Center, such as recruitment briefings and job training sessions for discharged soldiers, as well as mini job fairs. They also discussed ways to participate in the July job matching day.

The Busan Discharged Soldiers Support Center is working to create jobs by signing business agreements and holding regular meetings with various organizations. Through these efforts, the center shares each organization’s initiatives and collaborates to support discharged soldiers in their career transitions.
