Buan County Recruiting 'Beach Safety Management Personnel' Until May 14

103 Recruited; Active from July 3 to August 17

Buan County in North Jeolla Province announced on May 8 that it will be recruiting 'safety management personnel' to prevent safety accidents at beaches until May 14.


A total of 103 safety management personnel will be recruited this time. From July 3 to August 17, over a period of 46 days, they will be assigned to five beaches within Buan County?Byeonsan, Mohang, Gyeokpo, Gosapo, and Wido?where they will be responsible for accident prevention, lifesaving, and first aid duties.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 65 and hold a lifesaving certificate. Preference will be given to those with a license to operate powered water leisure equipment or with first aid-related qualifications.


Applications can be submitted in person at the Marine and Fisheries Division of the county office, by registered mail, or via the designated staff email, along with the required documents. The recruitment process consists of a document screening and an interview. The final list of successful candidates will be announced on May 27. Those selected will receive job training, including instruction on the use of rescue equipment and CPR, before being assigned to the five beaches within the county. A county official stated, "We will do our utmost to ensure that visitors to the county's beaches this summer can enjoy safe and pleasant water activities through thorough operation and safety management."
