Introduction to Policy Funds and Practical Mentoring Also Provided
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will begin accepting applications for its "2025 Youth Startup Start" training program, aimed at supporting prospective and early-stage young entrepreneurs, from May 12 to May 23.
The training curriculum includes the following: startup trends and idea development; business registration procedures and initial tax and accounting; marketing and branding strategies; practical methods for starting a business with small capital; and an introduction to small business policy funds and hands-on mentoring.
The program will be held at the "Hwaseong City Youth Employment Support Center" near Byeongjeom Station, every Monday and Wednesday from June 9 to July 2, for a total of eight sessions.
The training is free of charge, and any young person born between 1985 and 2006 who is a registered resident of the city and interested in entrepreneurship may apply. Interested applicants can apply online through the "Training Application → Startup Training" section on the center's website. Final selections will be notified individually via text message.
Song Jihae, Director of Hwaseong City's Youth and Adolescent Policy Division, stated, "This training program will strengthen young people's entrepreneurial capabilities through practical, step-by-step education and contribute to building a youth startup ecosystem in the region."
