Jeonnam Office of Education Announces Successful Candidates for 2025 First Equivalency Exam

582 Pass Out of 800 Examinees...
Oldest Successful Candidate Aged 76

The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced the successful candidates of the "2025 First Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Examination," which was held on May 5, through its official website on May 8.


A total of 800 people took the exam, and 582 candidates, or 72.8%, passed. The pass rates by level were as follows: elementary school, 85.3% (35 out of 41 candidates); middle school, 77.6% (104 out of 134); and high school, 70.8% (443 out of 625).

The oldest successful candidates were: Ms. Lee (female, 74) for the elementary school exam, Mr. Jung (76) for the middle school exam, and Mr. Shin (75) for the high school exam. Their achievements demonstrate that passion for learning transcends age.


The list of successful candidates and individual scores can be checked on the provincial office’s website until May 16. Certificates of passing will be sent individually by mail.


Related documents for the equivalency exam (certificate of passing, transcript, subject pass certificate) can be issued starting from the announcement date, May 8, by logging in with a joint authentication certificate on the "NAIS Public Service" or "Government24" websites. They can also be issued at administrative offices of elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide, at provincial and local education office civil service desks, or through unmanned civil document issuing machines at administrative welfare centers.
