The booth has been designed to allow local customers to easily and enjoyably experience K-beauty by incorporating elements of a school setting throughout the space. Key features include the ▲Global Mall App Experience Zone, where visitors can discover seasonally popular products; the ▲K-Super Rookie With Young Zone, which showcases promising brands; and individual experience spaces for Olive Young's own brands such as ▲Delight Project, ▲Bio Healbo, ▲Bring Green, ▲Wakemake, and ▲Colorgram.
'K-Super Rookie With Young' is a program jointly run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Olive Young to discover and nurture Korean cosmetics SMEs with high export potential. Among the brands growing through Olive Young's online and offline platforms, 20 brands?including Modubom, Epilow, Torhop, Twelve Grabs, and Hevblue, which were selected for last year's pilot project?will present their flagship products to local customers. The display is designed with a school store concept, allowing customers to purchase products on the Global Mall after experiencing them at the booth.
The 'Olive Young K-Beauty Global Meetup' is also being prepared for the first time this year. Lectures will cover various aspects of global expansion, including 'What Do Japanese Consumers Want in the Beauty Market?' by a global research firm, 'Local Communication Strategies' by a Japanese advertising agency, and 'Global Marketing Strategies Utilizing K-Culture' by CJ ENM. Notably, Choi Chulho, Vice President of VT Cosmetics, which has already entered the Japanese market and received positive feedback, will also participate as a speaker to share insights and know-how gained from the Japanese market.
There will also be spaces where local customers can experience K-beauty firsthand. In the Global Mall App Experience Zone, Japanese customers will be introduced to the 'Olive Young Global Mall,' which allows them to easily purchase and receive K-beauty products locally. Information about 'Olyoung Sale,' the Global Mall version featuring the hottest Korean beauty products of each season, will also be available in advance.
An Olive Young representative stated, "Olive Young is supporting small and medium-sized K-beauty brands to directly meet and engage with global customers by leveraging KCON, where K-culture fans from around the world gather," adding, "We will continue to serve as a 'K-beauty gateway' connecting small brands with global customers and take the lead in fostering a healthy K-beauty ecosystem."
