Mutual Appreciation Seat Tickets Offered on a First-Come, First-Served Basis
for Hometown Love Donation and Receipt Verification
On May 8, Jangseong County announced that it has prepared a range of programs for all ages, from children to adults, at the "24th Jangseong Hwangryonggang Gildongmu Flower Road Festival," which will take place over two days on May 10 and 11.
For families, the "A Moment of Memory, A Stamp Collected" activity is recommended. By visiting four stamp locations set up throughout the festival grounds and collecting stamps, participants can complete a postcard featuring illustrations of Jangseong County's mascots, Seongjangi and Jangseongi. Stamps can be collected at the festival's main operations headquarters, the experience zone, the Hometown Love Donation promotional center, and the Healing Herb Garden.
Art career experience programs for children are also noteworthy. At Hwangryong Garden, children can try out various art-related professions such as docent, character illustrator, florist, and perfumer. Crossing the river to the Healing Herb Garden, woodworking experiences are also available.
For adults looking forward to performances, a special seating event has been arranged. Those who spend more than 50,000 won in the Jangseong area during May and submit their receipts at the festival's reception desk will receive a "Mutual Appreciation Seat" ticket. These seats, located at the front of the main stage in Hwangryong Garden where the music festival is held, are limited to 200 and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Residents from outside Jangseong can also secure performance seats by participating in the Hometown Love Donation program. Those who donate 100,000 won or more to the county will receive two Mutual Appreciation Seat tickets per person. A total of 100 seats?50 for donors since January last year and 50 for on-site donors?will be allocated.
Visitors who wish to stay overnight in Jangseong and enjoy the festival can also take advantage of accommodation discounts. Depending on conditions, such as residence outside South Jeolla Province, visitors can receive up to a 40,000 won subsidy for accommodation. Discounts can be applied for through the Jeonnam Tourism Platform app.
