Now in its fourth year, this event is an emotional support program held in celebration of Parents' Day, aiming to wish for the health and longevity of seniors who have not been able to prepare longevity photos due to financial circumstances, and to provide them with a special moment in life.
Lotte Homeshopping provided hair and makeup services, outfits for the photo shoot, and invited professional photographers to help the seniors with their photos. The "Charlotte Volunteer Group," composed of Lotte Homeshopping employees, also participated in the event, presenting carnations as a token of gratitude and personally prepared "Three Memories Side Dish Set" (braised mackerel with radish, stir-fried anchovies, and soybean paste soup with dried radish greens) to the seniors.
Since 2015, Lotte Homeshopping has been continuously carrying out the "Hope Suragan" side dish sharing initiative for vulnerable groups in the Yeongdeungpo area, where its headquarters is located, for over ten years. The company prepares side dishes on a weekly basis and delivers them regularly to underprivileged people in the community, having provided approximately 68,000 side dishes to date. The number of seniors who have received support for longevity photo shoots has reached around 200.
Lee Donggyu, head of communications at Lotte Homeshopping, said, "We will continue to expand our social contribution activities to provide emotional support to underprivileged groups in the community, not just as one-off events."
