Skonec and Samsung Human Resources Development Center Lead XR+Gen AI Training Innovation... Fostering Next-Generation AI Global Leaders

Skonec announced on May 8 that it is opening a new horizon for global leadership development through a next-generation leadership role-playing platform that merges XR (Extended Reality) and Generative AI (Gen AI), in collaboration with Samsung Human Resources Development Center.

The "XR+Gen AI Leadership Immersive Training Project," which was signed in August last year for a total of 1.602 billion won, has achieved tangible results in line with the launch of Samsung's next-generation HMD (Head Mounted Display), and additional contracts are currently under discussion for this year.

This project is centered on immersive training content for Samsung Group employees and is designed to allow users to experience real leadership scenarios in a virtual, immersive environment through an advanced training system linked to Samsung HMD. In particular, the "AI Persona" and facilitator system, which enables AI to lead conversations and respond in real time according to the situation, are expected to dramatically reduce the costs and inefficiencies associated with large-scale group training.

Samsung's next-generation leadership training content is based on real HR situations (such as recruitment, assignment, evaluation, and exit interviews), and is composed of a digital environment featuring a total of eight types of personas (employee types), four types of scenarios, and three real-world spaces. Gen AI-based natural language processing (NLP) technology is applied to evaluate users' ability to cope with unexpected situations, emotional regulation, and conversational skills in real time.

Quantitative evaluation has also been introduced, comprehensively analyzing users' heart rate, eye movement, and conversation keywords by linking with key Samsung devices such as Samsung HMD, Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Ring. The inclusion of AAR (After Action Review) analysis and a replay system after training enables post-training feedback, which is expected to dramatically enhance the quality of education.

Most notably, this platform is attracting attention as a structure that can present a new revenue model not only in Korea but also across the global education industry. Skonec is leading the standardization of XR+AI-based immersive training content through its collaboration with Samsung, and there is significant potential for export to other large corporations and global HRD institutions beyond Samsung. In particular, the AI persona and scenario-based training technologies can be applied across a wide range of industries, including education, defense, public administration, and tourism, offering unlimited product potential and market scalability.

Samsung Human Resources Development Center is currently conducting full-scale training for the Biz Leader Group, and is also working to expand the program to the Core Value Group within the organization. In 2026, Samsung plans to provide experiential content for all new employees through an MR (Mixed Reality)-based training program to help them internalize Samsung's core values. In addition, in collaboration with the Cheil Digital Experience Team, development is underway for exhibition content for IFA (2025) and MWC (2026) following the launch of the Samsung HMD. There are also ongoing discussions about strategies to expand externally by linking with global events such as the 2026 Winter Olympics and the FIFA World Cup.

As such, XR-based training content, in conjunction with the growth potential of the hardware (HMD) market, is increasing the likelihood that Skonec will secure a leading position in the trillion-won global XR education market. An industry official commented, "Digital training platforms, including leadership education, are not just content, but will become 'profitable future industries' in the global HRD market, directly linked to the HR strategies of companies and institutions, and capable of generating sustainable revenue and profit."

A Skonec representative stated, "Leadership training that combines AI and XR is evolving beyond a simple trend into a high value-added industry capable of generating continuous revenue," and emphasized, "Our immersive training platform will become a core asset that drives substantial sales and growth in the global HRD market, not just in Korea."

The representative added, "We are currently participating in training bids with the Ministry of National Defense and the National Police Agency, and are preparing demonstration events to allow direct experience of our XR technology. Moving forward, we plan to expand our business and pursue monetization in earnest by broadening our connections with investors and the market through large-scale IR (Investor Relations) events."
