Busan Urban Corporation Conducts Focused Safety Inspection with Direct Participation of President

Changho Shin Emphasizes Strengthening Safety Responsibility

Busan Urban Corporation (BMC, President Changho Shin) announced on the 7th that, in line with the government's "2025 Focused Safety Inspection," President Changho Shin visited the construction site of the Ilgwang District 4BL Integrated Public Rental Housing on April 29 to personally conduct an on-site inspection.

The "2025 Focused Safety Inspection," overseen by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, is being conducted for about two months from April 14 to June 13. Central government ministries, local governments, public institutions, and citizens are all participating, with the aim of proactively inspecting and eliminating disaster and accident risk factors caused by climate change and aging urban infrastructure.

Through this focused safety inspection, Busan Urban Corporation is inspecting a total of seven major facilities and construction sites under its management over a three-week period from April 21 to May 9.

In particular, to enhance the professionalism and credibility of the on-site inspections, a large number of private-sector experts in various fields such as facilities, firefighting, and electricity are participating. In addition, the corporation's management is personally visiting the sites to check the progress of the inspections.

BMC stated that it will immediately implement access restrictions in areas identified as hazardous during the inspection process, and will promptly address any issues that can be resolved on-site. For facilities requiring a more precise diagnosis, the corporation plans to establish and carry out swift repair and reinforcement measures.
