"Thorough Quality Inspections
to Ensure a Safe and Comfortable Living Environment for Residents"
The Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority will conduct the second quality inspection of the newly built officetel 'Billiv Myeongji Duclass' in the Myeongji District of the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone on May 8, 2025.
This inspection targets the newly constructed officetel currently underway in Business Zone 5 (Myeongji-dong) of the Myeongji District. The building consists of two towers with three basement levels and 20 floors above ground, comprising a total of 475 officetel units. The first quality inspection was completed on February 5, 2025, and the second quality inspection will be conducted prior to the approval for use.
In the same district, 608 officetel units at 3605 Myeongji-dong underwent their second quality inspection on March 26, 2025, and received final approval for use on April 3, 2025.
The quality inspection team consists of 18 experts specializing in various fields, including architecture (planning, structure, construction), mechanical engineering, fire safety, electrical engineering, landscaping, and civil engineering. The main inspection items include: ▲ quality assessment of construction in both common and private areas of the building; ▲ quality inspection of structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems; ▲ evaluation of the adequacy of civil engineering and landscaping works within the complex.
The Authority plans to require the project developer to address any deficiencies identified during the quality inspection through repairs or reinforcements.
Director Park Seongho stated, "Through this quality inspection, we will thoroughly assess the safety and quality of the newly built officetel, and we will do our utmost to create a residential environment where future residents can live with peace of mind."
