Incross, a digital advertising specialist and an affiliate of SK Square, announced on May 7 that its consolidated revenue for the first quarter reached 10.17 billion KRW, with operating profit at 2.08 billion KRW and net profit at 2.366 billion KRW. These figures represent increases of 20.2%, 155.8%, and 86.6%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
The growth in first-quarter performance was primarily driven by the advertising division. The division's transaction volume reached a record high for the first quarter at 91.071 billion KRW, marking a 40.2% increase year-on-year. Revenue for the same period grew by 31.9% to 6.531 billion KRW.
This improvement is attributed to the strengthening of the Agency of Record (AOR) business and diversification of the media portfolio, which have enhanced service competitiveness since last year. The subsidiary Mindnoke also recorded a 4.9% year-on-year increase in transaction volume, reaching 11.233 billion KRW, by enhancing synergies between search advertising and creative production.
The commerce rep division also maintained stable growth. First-quarter commerce revenue rose by 12.5% year-on-year to 1.941 billion KRW. During the same period, the transaction volume grew slightly to 45.5 billion KRW. This result was driven by diversifying operational platforms beyond T Deal to include Hyundai Shop, Homnic online mall, and others, as well as by continuously strengthening its market position as a commerce operator. Incross plans to further expand its business scope this year by acquiring new commerce clients.
Meanwhile, in April, Incross made a full-fledged entry into the PPL (product placement) market by privately launching its AI PPL platform 'Stellaize.' Stellaize is a PPL platform that supports fast and efficient collaboration between brands and influencers through an AI-based creator matching system and automated performance reporting features.
Since launching Stellaize, Incross has focused on identifying major advertisers and building references. Going forward, the company intends to transition Stellaize into an open platform and, furthermore, create additional growth momentum by leveraging synergies with its advertising and commerce divisions.
Incross CEO Son Yoonjung stated, "In the first quarter, performance improvement was achieved as a result of successful restructuring in our core advertising and commerce divisions, as well as the smooth progress of new business initiatives. In particular, Incross will continue to evolve into a hybrid group of experts that provides strategic solutions to clients based on our understanding and application capabilities of AI, and we plan to deliver tangible results."
