In May, Jeju, Korea's premier global tourist destination, offers visitors the chance to see hydrangeas, buckwheat flowers, and lush barley fields. Popular sites include Honinji, Wahlli Buckwheat Village, and the barley fields of Oradong. At Wild Orchard, located in Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju, the first festival will be held in its expansive green tea fields, expected to attract many visitors to Jeju this May.
Wild Orchard, Jeju's leading organic tea brand, will host the "2025 Wild Orchard Tea Festival" in Jeju from May 16 to May 25 this year. Wild Orchard is a farm that has practiced organic farming for over 25 years, covering a total area of 2.6 million pyeong, which is roughly the size of 1,000 soccer fields.
The "2025 Wild Orchard Tea Festival," being held for the first time, will take place under the slogan "A Truly Wild Orchard: Purely, As It Is." The festival will showcase Wild Orchard's green tea, which is the world's first to receive Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) status in the green tea category, and will open up 150,000 pyeong of tea fields to the public. This Jeju festival, returning after six years, is drawing significant attention from tea enthusiasts.
At the festival venue, visitors will have the opportunity to taste a variety of green tea-based blended teas, including Wild Orchard’s signature regenerative organic green tea. There will also be booths offering organic foods, various play areas for families, and special booths where visitors can experience tea culture. In particular, concerts featuring renowned artists from Korea and abroad are also scheduled.
