Senior Advisor Ki Sook Lee Delivers Four-Day Online Lecture for Parents
Key Insights on Children's Intelligence Development Shared
Booyoung Group announced on May 7 that it conducted early childhood development education for parents of the "Booyoung Sarangro Daycare Center" over a four-day period starting from April 21.
The training was led by Ki Sook Lee, Senior Advisor of the Booyoung Group Childcare Support Team and Professor Emeritus of Early Childhood Education at Ewha Womans University. The topic was "Key Aspects of Children's Intelligence Development That Parents Should Not Overlook." A total of 523 parents participated in the session. The lecture video will be available for replay on YouTube until May 12.
The program focused on step-by-step learning methods in accordance with the sequence of brain development, and covered topics such as: the correlation between emotional stability and intelligence development; sensory stimulation methods for infants and toddlers; learning through parent and peer interactions; the importance of play-based education; the formation of basic life habits and character education; and ways for parents to encourage creative expression.

The "Booyoung Sarangro Daycare Center" is located within Booyoung apartment complexes and provided as a rent-free space. Booyoung allocates the equivalent amount of rent to reduce parents' financial burden and to improve the quality of childcare. Fees for events, field trips, and educational materials are waived, and the company has partnered with organic meal and snack providers to enhance the quality of the menu.
The Booyoung Group Childcare Support Team appoints daycare directors according to the same standards as public daycare centers. Parent education, teacher training, and childcare consulting are all provided free of charge. The company also offers opening support funds and admission fee support for families with multiple children.
Booyoung Group is also active in social contribution activities, such as providing childbirth incentives. The company has paid 100 million won per child, with a cumulative total of 9.8 billion won, to help address the low birthrate issue. The total amount donated to society so far exceeds 1.2 trillion won.
