10 Companies to Conduct On-Site Recruitment
Boryeong City in South Chungcheong Province announced on May 7 that it will host the "2025 Boryeong City Employment and Startup Expo" at Daecheon Gymnasium on May 13 to provide citizens with practical opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.
This expo will offer a variety of customized services, including immediate hiring opportunities through on-site interviews, employment competency enhancement programs, special lectures on entrepreneurship, and one-on-one startup consulting.
Ten companies, including SNS INC and Korea Fukkoku, will conduct direct recruitment at the venue, while another ten companies, such as Daecheon Gim, will participate through promotional activities and indirect recruitment, aiming to discover local talent.
The expo will feature practical programs such as a job experience center, personal color diagnosis, and image-making consulting. In addition, the "Youth Startup Zone" will be operated, where young entrepreneurs who have succeeded through Boryeong City's startup support programs will exhibit and sell their products and share their startup know-how.
In particular, the special lectures on entrepreneurship and one-on-one consulting will be available only to those who register in advance. Interested participants can apply through the Boryeong City Employment Support Center website by May 11.
Mayor Kim Dongil stated, "This expo will serve as a customized employment and startup support platform tailored to the needs of our citizens," adding, "We will continue to do our best to realize 'Boryeong, a city of impressive job services and a starting point for entrepreneurial challenges.'
