AI and Leadership Programs to Launch in October
Yongsan District in Seoul is partnering with Lotte Construction to establish the Yongsan Global Education Support Center. The two parties recently signed a business agreement and finalized specific plans for the division of roles and cost sharing regarding the creation and operation of the center.

The center will be located on the third floor of the youth housing near Gyeonggi Station at 98-6 Galwol-dong, with a total floor area of 316 square meters. Full-scale preparations have begun with the goal of opening in October this year. Lotte Construction will be responsible for construction and related costs, while Yongsan District will operate a variety of educational programs through a private consignment model.
The main programs will cover four areas: academic advancement support, Y-Leader development, Yongsan-style global talent cultivation, and customized education for parents. Future-oriented content will also be provided, including literacy and character education, academic stress management, global leadership, and training in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and ChatGPT.
Park Heeyoung, Mayor of Yongsan District, stated, "This agreement is an important milestone for Yongsan District in its journey to become a premier education city," and added, "We will work closely with Lotte Construction to establish an advanced educational environment so that students in Yongsan District can grow into global talent through the Global Education Support Center."
