On May 5, the city held the "103rd Children's Day Celebration" at the Dongnak Park Plaza, offering a variety of hands-on activities and performances for children and their families to enjoy together. The event was organized by Gumi City and hosted by the Gumi City Daycare Association.
More than 50 experience and promotional booths were set up at the venue, featuring a family participation play zone, fire and police equipment experiences, drone and 3D pen activities, and other creative and curiosity-stimulating content.
Live performances, including a military band parade, children's jump rope and taekwondo demonstrations, and a big balloon show, were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience. Both children and parents laughed and enjoyed themselves, adding to the spirit of a festival created by the local community.
