Gathering Warm Hearts for Comforting Disaster Victims and Restoring the Community
On May 1, Cheongsong County announced that its public officials had voluntarily raised and donated a total of 18 million won in relief funds to support the rapid recovery of local residents and the community affected by the recent wildfire.

This fundraising effort was led by the Cheongsong County branch of the National Public Officials Labor Union Gyeongbuk Headquarters, which donated 10 million won. In addition, various employee clubs within the county office also participated, demonstrating the warm solidarity and spirit of sharing among public officials.
The Blue Dragons Football Club, the county office's soccer club; Cheongsong County Pines, the baseball club; and Cheongmahoe, the marathon club, each donated 1 million won for a total of 3 million won. The Cheongtohoe, a gathering of civil engineers within the county office, contributed 3 million won, while Gonguhoe, an association of public officials from Jinbo-myeon, donated 2 million won.
Cheongsong County public officials have worked tirelessly day and night at the wildfire recovery sites, dedicating themselves to restoration and support efforts in the face of this unprecedented disaster. At the same time, their participation in the donation campaign to share the pain of the affected residents has deeply resonated within the local community.
Yoon Kyunghee, the county governor, stated, "I sincerely thank all the public officials who have put the community and residents first and set an example even in the face of this major wildfire disaster. Your warm dedication and efforts will be a great force in helping Cheongsong County rise again."
