Scheffler secured a wire-to-wire victory, staying atop the leaderboard for all four days. He set new tournament records for the lowest 36-hole (124 strokes) and 54-hole (190 strokes) scores and tied the PGA Tour record for the lowest 72-hole score. Justin Thomas (USA) at the 2017 Sony Open and Ludvig Aberg (Sweden) at the 2023 RSM Classic also recorded 253 strokes.
Scheffler began the final round with an 8-shot lead and recorded 1 eagle, 8 birdies, and 2 bogeys. After making a birdie on the 2nd hole, he gave it back with a bogey on the 3rd (both par 4), but then caught fire with four consecutive birdies from the 4th to the 7th holes. An eagle on the par-5 9th hole widened his lead, and another birdie on the par-4 11th all but sealed his victory early. He made a bogey on the par-3 17th after a misplayed approach shot, and missed a 2.4-meter birdie putt on the final par-5 18th, falling short of setting a new record. His performance was highlighted by an average driving distance of 302.70 yards, a greens-in-regulation rate of 77.78%, and an outstanding 1.36 putts per green in regulation.
Erik van Rooyen (South Africa), who played in the final group with Scheffler, also shot 8-under but had to settle for runner-up at 23-under-par 261. Dallas native Jordan Spieth (USA) carded the day's best round with a 9-under, jumping from a tie for 23rd to finish 4th at 19-under-par 265.
Among Korean players, Kim Siwoo posted the best result with a 5-under round, finishing tied for 15th at 15-under-par 269. Im Sungjae managed to improve by just one stroke, ending up tied for 33rd at 12-under-par 272. An Byeonghun finished the tournament tied for 60th at 5-under-par 279.
