Yangsan City Successfully Hosts 16th Woongsang Children's Day Family Festival

A Day of Exciting Play and Family Fun

Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province held the 16th Woongsang Children's Day Family Festival at Seochang Sports Complex on May 3 to celebrate the 103rd Children's Day. The event was a great success.

Hosted by the Woongsang Junior Chamber, the event attracted around 5,000 citizens. There were performances by invited singers and YouTubers, various experience booths, amusement rides, and food trucks, offering children a wide range of activities to experience and enjoy.

One of the highlights was the "Hope Balloon Release" ceremony, where balloons symbolizing children's dreams and wishes were released into the sky, drawing much attention. The "Family Unity Squid Game (Three-Legged Race)," which emphasized teamwork and cooperation among family members, provided great enjoyment not only to participants but also to all citizens attending the event, receiving an enthusiastic response.

This year, the event also featured "Egg Doctor," a popular YouTuber known for nature play content focused on insects and animals. Egg Doctor delivered a special performance that children had previously only seen on video, and the "Photo Time with Egg Doctor" segment became a memorable highlight for the children. In addition, a variety of experience booths offered plenty of attractions and activities.

Lee Jooyoung, President of the Woongsang Junior Chamber, said, "Seeing children running and playing happily on the grass makes me feel truly proud and delighted. We will continue to create opportunities for local residents to enjoy by preparing various programs that everyone can communicate and have fun together."
