Mentoring Camp for Job Seekers Aged 19 to 39:
Mentors from Leading Companies in Nine Job Fields
Experience the Entire Process:
From Special Lectures on Recruitment Trends and Job Search Strategies
to Practical Assignments and Feedback
Yeongdeungpo District (District Mayor Choi Hokwon) announced that it will operate a "Job Mentoring Camp with Employees" to help young job seekers improve their understanding of various job roles and strengthen their practical skills.
This camp is designed to allow young people to indirectly experience job roles they are interested in and substantially enhance their competitiveness in the job market through special lectures by employees from each field and the completion of practical assignments.
Reflecting the employment needs of young people, the district has expanded the number of job fields from four last year to nine this year. The fields include sales management, planning, business support, cosmetics·fashion, foreign consumer goods, semiconductor process, marketing, overseas sales, and project manager (PM). Employees from major companies in each field will participate as mentors.
The mentoring program consists of two sessions per job field. In the first session, employees will give special lectures on recruitment trends and job search strategies for each company and job role, and participants will complete job-related assignments based on this information. In the second session, participants will present their assignments and receive feedback, with programs provided to further enhance their practical skills. All sessions will be conducted in real time via online video conferencing (ZOOM).
Any young job seeker aged 19 to 39 can apply, with eight participants per job field for a total of 72 participants. The camp will be held sequentially by field from May to October. Currently, applications are being accepted for the "Sales Management" field until May 13 and for the "Planning" field until May 20.
Applications can be submitted via the QR code or URL provided in the information notice. Detailed schedules are available on the district website's "District News" bulletin board or the Yeongdeungpo Youth Naver Cafe. For inquiries, please contact the district's Youth Policy Division.
Choi Hokwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, "I hope this will be an opportunity for young people to communicate directly with employees, deepen their understanding of job roles, and develop practical skills. We will continue to support and encourage the growth of young people in the future."
