Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on May 2 that it had selected and awarded a total of nine teams through the Danbi Enterprise Startup Support Project.

Launched in 2017, this project is Bucheon City's flagship startup incubating program. It aims to discover startup ideas that can address local social issues and realize them as social economy models.

A total of 44 teams applied during the two-month application period that began in February. The city provided intensive training and expert consulting to the applicant teams, focusing on enhancing the feasibility and marketability of their business plans. After selecting 15 teams through the first round of document screening, the city conducted presentation evaluations and ultimately chose nine teams as the final recipients.
