of Four Holiday Gift Sets
Sold Out for Nine Consecutive Years
Jeongyukgak announced on May 2 that it is launching a new top-tier VVIP Korean beef gift set and transitioning to year-round operation of its gift set lineup. Previously available only during holiday seasons, Jeongyukgak's gift sets have sold out early for nine consecutive years due to their popularity. In response to consistent customer requests and the rising demand for premium gifts, the company has completely revamped its operating model.
The newly introduced VVIP gift set is comprised exclusively of the highest-grade (1++) or higher Korean beef, with prices starting in the 600,000 KRW range and customizable options exceeding 1,000,000 KRW. Customers can create combinations centered on rare premium cuts not regularly sold by Jeongyukgak, such as Kkotdeungsim (ribeye cap and chuck flap tail) and Chateaubriand (tenderloin). The set also comes with luxury wrapping cloth and a custom thank-you card.
The VVIP gift set features a dedicated consultation service that allows for detailed selection and customization of cuts based on the recipient's preferences and the purpose of the gift. The entire process, from consultation to production, packaging, and shipping, is carried out according to each individual order. To maintain freshness and quality, product preparation and dispatch are flexibly managed in line with the order schedule. Jeongyukgak plans to focus on providing a private order experience for premium customers, going beyond simple product sales.
In addition, Jeongyukgak will now offer four of its most popular gift sets?previously only available during holidays?on a year-round basis. The lineup ranges from the ultra-fresh pork signature set to premium sets centered on Korean beef, with prices spanning from 60,000 KRW to 190,000 KRW. All products can be easily ordered through the 'Gift' feature in the Jeongyukgak app and online store. Delivery date selection and personalized message entry are also supported.
To celebrate the launch of year-round gift set sales throughout May, customers who purchase any of the four gift sets will receive a discount of up to 11%. Additionally, as part of a Family Month promotion, a separate 10% coupon (up to 10,000 KRW off) will be offered for all Jeongyukgak regular products, excluding the gift feature.
A Jeongyukgak representative stated, "Earlier this year, we conducted a small-scale trial of customized premium sets in response to strong customer requests. The recipients expressed high satisfaction, and there were repeated requests for resale among those who sent the gifts." The representative added, "This shift to year-round availability reflects our confidence in the taste and quality of our meats, and we will continue to expand the customer experience going forward."
