Recruiting 397 Participants from May 7 to 16
Seoul's Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mikyung) is recruiting participants for the "2025 Second Half Public Job Program" to support the self-reliance of low-income, employment-vulnerable groups and the unemployed.

The recruitment period runs for 10 days from May 7 to May 16, and a total of 397 people will be selected (281 for Seoul Companion Jobs, 100 for Eunpyeong Reliable Jobs, and 16 for Community Jobs).
This program offers public jobs in 23 fields, including neighborhood and office environment maintenance, school zone traffic safety monitoring, support for the digitally disadvantaged, and office work assistance. Notably, in the second half of this year, a new position?staff for the Eunpyeong Imom Playground, a Seoul-style kids' cafe?will be added, contributing to the creation of a child-friendly environment.
Eligibility is limited to Eunpyeong-gu residents aged 18 or older whose total household assets do not exceed 499 million won. For Seoul Companion Jobs and Eunpyeong Reliable Jobs, applicants must have a household income at or below 80% of the median income, while for Community Jobs, the threshold is 70% or below. The district will comprehensively consider assets, income, previous participation in public job programs, and employment vulnerability when selecting participants.
Those selected will begin work on July 1, and will receive the 2025 minimum wage (10,030 won per hour), as well as four major insurances, paid weekly leave, and other benefits. Applicants must visit their local community center with a valid ID and a job registration certificate to apply.
District Mayor Kim Mikyung stated, "We changed the program name to 'Eunpyeong Reliable Jobs' to reflect the idea that jobs are welfare," and added, "We will continue to identify various tailored job opportunities to stabilize livelihoods and revitalize the local economy."
